Google has the answer to every question of yours. Be it a child's question a home remedy or finding a nearby clinic… Google answers every question of yours. Even if you want to sit in a good cafe, Google will give you information about it too. From this, you must have guessed how much we all depend on Google.

To improve these browsers and search engines, these companies keep updating their rules continuously. Recently, a big tech company has announced that it is going to bring some new changes in the rules of the search domain.

Changes going to happen

In the year 2017, Google introduced its localized search option. With the help of country code top-level domain names (ccTLD), such as Google.ng for Nigeria or google.com.br for Brazil, the user interface was made even more friendly. However, now they are going to make some changes to it. Will this affect our 'net-surfing'? What changes will it bring for Indian users?

What will be the effect of Google's new change on users?

Google recently said in a blog post that now there is no need for a national-level domain and hence Google will redirect all searches to Google.com, such as Google.com instead of Google.in (India). The post states that we will redirect traffic from these ccTLDs to Google.com to improve people's search experience.

However, this will not have much impact on users' search nor will there be any change in the way they search. The blog post also states that it is important to note that this update will change what will appear in the browser address bar, but it will not affect the way search works nor will it change our responsibilities under national laws.

When will these changes be implemented in Google Search?

These changes will be implemented in the next few months. According to the statement, users may have to reset some search preferences, but this will not have any major impact or interruption on your search.
