DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Recruitment of apprentices in DRDO, know the selection process..

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications for the recruitment of apprentices. These recruitments are for the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE). The application process for this has started from 9th April i.e. today. The last date to apply is 8th May 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for this recruitment through the official website of NATS .

Under this recruitment drive, a total of 150 posts of apprentices will be filled in DRDO. According to the official notification issued by DRDO, the first list of shortlisted candidates will be published on 23rd May 2025. Selected candidates will get an opportunity to do an apprenticeship for 12 months.

Vacancy Details

Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering): 75 posts

Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non Engineering): 30 posts

Diploma Apprentice Trainee: 20 posts

ITI Apprentice Trainee: 25 posts

What are the eligibility criteria?

Educational Qualification- Educational qualification is different for different apprentice posts. For example, for Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering), candidates should have BE/BTech or equivalent degree, while for Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non Engineering), candidates should have BCom/BSc/BA/BCA/BBA degree.

Age Limit- The age limit of the candidates should be between 18 to 27 years. However, as per government rules, age relaxation will be given to the candidates of the reserved category.

What is the selection process?

Selection of candidates for Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering), Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non-Engineering), Diploma Apprentice Trainee, and ITI Apprentice Trainee will be done by shortlisting based on academic qualification, subject to document verification.
