Opportunity for those who have crossed the age limit
The most special thing about this recruitment is that candidates who have crossed the maximum age limit in 2022 and 2023 will also get an opportunity to apply. The government has implemented this rule by giving a special exemption.
Now all the posts will be filled through direct recruitment
According to the earlier rule, only 50% of the posts could be filled through direct recruitment, but this time the government has removed this restriction. The government says that this decision has been taken in view of the immediate need in the police force.

This recruitment includes the posts that fell vacant in 2024 as well as the posts that will fall vacant in 2025. Police Constable - 12,399 posts
Police Constable Driver - 234 posts
Bandsman - 25 posts
Armed Police Constable - 2,393 posts
Jail Constable - 580 posts
Recruitment Process and Exam Fee
The recruitment process will be conducted at the division level, and an OMR-based written examination will be conducted for this. The examination fee has been fixed at ₹450 for general category candidates and ₹350 for reserved category candidates.
