Liverpool full-back has tipped to go on to become .

The Northern Ireland international has impressed in place of Alexander-Arnold off the bench when called upon, and has been viewed as a potential successor to 's first choice right-back in the future. As things stand, Alexander-Arnold is currently out of contract in the summer. Come January, he will be able to negotiate with other clubs over a new contract, potentially seeing Liverpool lose a world class player for free.

, in a move that would see him potentially link up with England teammate Jude Bellingham at the Bernabeu. Should Liverpool lose Alexander-Arnold, then Bradley would .

Recently, Alexander-Arnold was asked by which of Liverpool's youngsters from Bradley, Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic and Harvey Elliot could go on to be a future star for the club. And it was Bradley whom Alexander-Arnold selected from the quartet.

"I have to go with Conor," said Alexander-Arnold. He added:"I like to play 90 minutes, but I know how good he is and I have trust in him to get the job done and to help the team win the game."

Earlier this month, Bradley also offered up his own praise of his fellow right-back too. "Everybody knows how good Trent is. He’s one of a kind as a footballer," Bradley told .

"But my aim is the same as last season – whenever I get a chance to be on the pitch I’m going to do my best to help the team. It’s about winning the games and giving my all. I know I’ve got some decent competition. If I’m training well, hopefully it can push Trent on and that can only be good for the team."

Liverpool.com says: "Liverpool might want to give Conor Bradley some more minutes this term if they want to figure out if he could be Alexander-Arnold's long-term successor. The Reds full-back has shown promise so far during the early days of his senior Liverpool career, but has a long way to go before being able to get close to the heights Alexander-Arnold has reached.

"However, while Bradley could go on to become a special player for Liverpool, the Reds cannot afford to take that gamble by letting Alexander-Arnold go for free in the summer. They must tie the England international down to a new deal, which would allow Bradley to continue to serve as his understudy."
