In the run up to the festive season, dozens of retailers have gone head to head to deliver the biggest and best beauty advent calendars. And the latest to throw their Santa hat into the ring, is none other than John Lewis, with a haul that rivals some of the high end offerings.

The retailer’s 2024 Christmas countdown launched online today (October 3), which is relatively considering many hit the shelves in September, however, and will no doubt be a popular pick with beauty fans. Coming in at £195, the calendar is worth £933.13, saving more than £700 on the RRP.

Inside, there are 32 full and deluxe-size beauty products spanning makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance to see you through the party season and beyond. And as for the brands? John Lewis isn't the only retailer to launch beauty advent calendars this weel. After more than 120,000 customers signed up to the waitlist, Boots revealed not one, but two No7 beauty advent calendars for 2024.

The first of the highly-anticipated hauls is the 25 Days of Beauty Secrets Advent Calendar. With a value of over £236, it’s available for £60, offering an incredible saving of £176 on some of the brand’s best selling products. But for those seeking even more indulgence, there’s also the pricier No7 Ultimate Calendar, coming in at £175. Valued at over £514, beauty buffs will save £339, and every single one of the 25 products inside are full-sized.

Elsewhere, ASOS's comes in at £95 offering a wide range of beauty brands at a mid-range price. For something even more luxurious, you might want to take a look at the likes of Liberty and Sephora, both boasting a value of over £1,000.
