Manchester City star Ruben Dias has issued a new Premier League title verdict following the latest round of results. Not for the first time this season, Man City and Arsenal both dropped points while Liverpool secured another victory.
As a result of Arne Slot's beating Aston Villa and City's defeat to Brighton, the gap at the top opened up to five points with unable to keep pace after drawing a London derby against Chelsea. With the Gunners having last won in the League on October, 5 2024 and City on a four-game losing streak, the Reds are clear favourites.
It is worth noting however, that Arsenal have already played last season's top eight with all but one of those fixtures away from Emirates Stadium.

City meanwhile, are experts at constantly winning during the run-in with centre-back Dias suggesting all is calm when offering his verdict on the title race. "We're not out. They're not out. No one is out. It is still early days in the season," he told Sky Sports on Monday.
"Obviously there's still a lot to happen and we all know how the Premier League is - that is why we love it so much. We also know this is going to be a very wild season in terms of time to rest and dealing with it and moving forward. It's a long run. We're like a third of the season through, nearly halfway. So yeah, still a lot to play [for]."
Given he is a four-time Premier League champion, Dias is certainly experienced enough to talk on the topic. And with 27 games still left to play, he is absolutely bang on and therefore City will not be phased by this blip in form, especially as Kevin De Bruyne is gradually coming back into the fold.
As for Arsenal and Liverpool, all they can do is try and take advantage with the latter certainly doing that and building up quite a healthy lead they will aim to keep hold of.
