Peaky Blinders' Sam Claflin 'splits from model girlfriend and already back on dating apps'

Actor Sam Claflin has reportedly back on the dating scene having split from his model girlfriend.

star, 38, is said to have called time onafter two years together. Sam, who is known for his role as Oswald Mosley in hit series Peaky Blinders, is believed to already be looking for love after moving on from Cassie.

He started dating Cassie in 2022, who was previously in a relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, following his split from wife Laura Haddock. “Things ran their course – the distance between them and different schedules got too much," a source said. "They are still good mates."

“But Sam isn’t wasting any time and has already signed up to a dating site and is on open to meeting someone new," they told Sam and Cassie started dating three years after his split from Guardians Of The Galaxy actress Laura. They made their red carpet debut at Elton John’s Oscars viewing party in March.

During their time together, Sam and Cassie made their love no secret. They would often leave gushing messages on each other's social media posts, as Sam once said on Cassie's bikini snaps: "You are perfect." Sam joined Peaky Blinders in 2018 and has also appeared in Love, Rosie as Akek Stewart as well as hit series Daisy Jones and the Six.

The actor shares two children with his ex wife Laura - Pip, six and daughter Margot, four. They married in 2013 and split in 2019. Speaking about their , Sam said:Every break-up is difficult, and obviously having kids makes it even more. During Covid I really f***ing struggled with the kids and, mentally, where my life was."

He also revealed the impact it had on his confidence and assumed producers of Daisy Jones & The Six "just had to make do" with him. "I'm working on this in therapy," he added in the honest chat with GQ magazine. In his recent role in Video's Daisy Jones & The Six, Sam played a singer struggling with his marriage.

The couple announced their split in a joint post in August 2019. It read: "Laura and I have decided to legally separate. We will move forward with nothing but love, friendship and a deep respect for one another whilst we continue to raise our family together. We won't be commenting on this further. Thank you in advance for your support and respecting our privacy at this time. Both of us x."
