SPECTACULAR STYLE can make the most of a return to a mile and a half to score a second win at Hamilton in the Sir Ian Good Memorial Handicap (3.33).
The son of Frankel won at the Scottish course in September last season over the same trip and also ran well at the end of that month when fourth behind Divina’s Grace at Newmarket when stepped up in class.
The four-year-old was not seen again until last month when trailing in last of nine on his handicap debut over a mile at Haydock Park.
Tried over a furlong longer 24 days ago in a Sandown Park handicap, he fared better but was outpaced in the closing stages.
Now running over a more favourable trip and on a 2lb lower mark Roger Varian’s gelding can return to the winner’s circle.
INVINCIBLE ANNICE is another to have success over course and distance, having won here in September in a novice event on heavy ground.
Fourth in a Chester nursery nine days ago, Karl Burke sends him back to Hamilton for the Ecosave Installations Ltd Nursery (2.58) over five furlongs, where the Invincible Spirit juvenile has an excellent chance.
