For those who can't resist a cheeky Nando's, there's good news, as you can now whip up a -inspired chicken and halloumi burger at home.

Thanks to sensation Eloise Head, better known as fitwaffle, you can now make this mouth-watering with minimal fuss. In a recent video, she said you don't need to put in a lot of effort to pull it off. All it takes is some sliced tomato and halloumi, along with a flattened chicken breast seasoned generously with paprika, cayenne pepper and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Eloise concocts a tantalising sauce by mixing two tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce with a teaspoon of honey and a splash of hot sauce. Mix them well, then slather the mixture over the chicken and cheese.

When it's time to cook, Eloise instructs to air fry the chicken for 10 minutes at 200C. Then add the cheese and cook for an additional five minutes at the end. To assemble the burger, spread some mayonnaise on a bun, then stack it with the chicken, cheese, fresh salad and drizzle with the homemade sauce.

This leaves you with a burger that not only looks stunning, but is also described by Eloise as "super juicy and saucy". However, she warns against trying to add broccoli into the air fryer for some crunch, as her attempt resulted in a rather charred side dish.

The video has been viewed by thousands, and Eloise's fans didn't hesitate to share their approval. Many confessed their love for the burger, and said they were keen to try the recipe.

One follower enthused: "Eating it now - best burger I've had, but I fried instead." Another chimed in with: "Interesting. Definitely going to give it a go." Someone else proclaimed: "Looks delicious." Meanwhile, a fourth fan shared: "I used this air fryer in my home. So good."

Eloise has garnered a massive audience across her Fitwaffle and Fitwaffle Kitchen channels. She's celebrated for creating straightforward yet scrumptious recipe videos that effortlessly guide viewers through each step.
