Could Ross Barton turn into a killer after becoming an undefeated champion?
Actor reprised his role in this week as his alter-ego faced Billy Fletcher in the ring this Monday. But after being distracted by his young son Moses, Ross came face to face with Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle, the mother of his child.
Amid theories that Ross may reignite his affair with Charity (), Mackenzie () has also been bickering with the returning character as the pair fight over Moses' affections.
During this Friday's (November 1) trip to the Dales, Ross Barton investigated a nearby barn after ditching his boxing glove for Moira Dingle's shotgun. Mackenzie confronted Ross over his recklessness before telling Charity everything. But with he and Ross' arguing set to intensify, a theory suggests that Ross may be tempted to do something drastic to take Mackenzie out of the picture and finally be a prominent male role model for his son.
To top it all off, Mackenzie has every reason to feud with Ross as he is also seemingly insecure around him and Charity. Viewers of the Yorkshire-based programme will know that and have speculated the pair could wind up in another affair in upcoming scenes, with many adding this could end the .
Many TV watchers jumped on to , now X, to share their thoughts this Monday. "It's 4years tomorrow that charity cheated on love of her life with mcrat I'm all for her cheating on said mcrat with ross @emmerdale #emmerdale #vanity", one of them wrote, in reference to Charity's former relationship with Vanessa Woodfield.
Another echoed: "Ross and Charity are deffo gonna sleep together!!! The dreaded marriage is gonna end #Emmerdale", just as one soap fan penned: "I cannot wait for Ross and Charity scenes omg #emmerdale." But could the rivalry end in bloodshed?
While this remains to be seen, this wouldn't be the first time a love triangle ends in tears in the Yorkshire-based programme as, during 2022's Super Soap Week, Emmerdale bosses decided to end Chas Dingle's own love affair with Al Chapman
Prior to this, Al Chapman had been feuding with Cain Dingle for several years but, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that Cain's young son Kyle Winchester had actually fatally shot Al to protect his father, prompting the tough man to take the fall for him. Could Moses do the same for Ross or Mackenzie?
In a previous theory, Ross was expected by viewers to face Billy Fletcher () in another brutal brawl, but could Mackenzie become involved in their feud?
