Gareth Bale's two-year Tottenham prediction may be about to come true ahead of the Europa League final against Manchester United on Wednesday.
side have the chance to win Spurs' first piece of silverware since 2008 in Bilbao and face a United team they have already beaten three times this season. The win would also ensure qualification for next campaign and would turn a disappointing season into a memorable one.
Former star Bale, who made 237 appearances for the club, scoring 71 goals and grabbing 53 assists, will be in attendance at San Mames Stadium as he is working as a pundit for TNT Sports. The Welshman will be working alongside , Glenn Hoddle and Paul Scholes in Bilbao.

Interestingly, the former Real Madrid forward has already made his feelings clear on Postecoglou and hinted in 2023 that it would not be long until the club would be fighting for trophies once more.
"They definitely are [playing exciting football again]," Bale told Sky Sports while at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship celebrity Pro-AM tournament at Wentworth Golf Club.
"It's great to see, I think they've got their style back. I think that's something the club were probably looking for as well when seeing how he played and performed up at Celtic.
"It's a great start, and hopefully there's still more to come from the team. Hopefully they'll continue getting better and better with their new manager, new kind of style and hopefully they can put themselves up there and give themselves a chance [to fight for trophies]."
While Tottenham have been extremely disappointing in the Premier League this season, many will be hoping the club can end their 17-year trophy drought against Ruben Amorim's side. Micky van de Ven, who is set to start at centre-back alongside Cristian Romero, believes he and his teammates are ready to make supporters' dreams come true.
“I think it will be a big thing of course because everybody knows that when you join Tottenham, you get the words through of ‘ah, you’re not going to win a trophy’, that you will be trophyless the rest of your career,” Van de Ven explained. “It’s these people on social media, you know? These banter people that you don’t take really serious.
“It was the gaffer and the whole squad who said, ‘we’re going to come here and change something’. For us, it’s the job now to make this happen in Bilbao.
“We all know we play for a big club. This club deserves trophies. That’s the truth. If you look at the quality in the squad, we deserve a trophy. It has been a tough season but we can end this perfectly by winning a prize.”
