Elon Musk has lashed out after being snubbed from the government’s International Investment Summit next month.

The billionaire, 53, was not invited over false claims he made during the summer’s riots.

He posted yesterday: “I don’t think anyone should go to the UK when they’re releasing paedophiles in order to imprison people for social media posts.”

No sex offenders have been included in the early prison release programme.

Mr Musk was a star guest at the government’s Artificial Intelligence Safety Summit last year, when he was interviewed by then-PM Rishi Sunak.

Last week an X post sent by Elon Musk suggesting it was “odd” no attempts had been made on the lives of President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris is under investigation by agents.

Last weekend, disgraced ex-commander and chief Donald Trump was grabbed by the Secret Service when a number of gunshots were made in an alleged assassination attempt. The Republican nominee was taken to safety after the incident on his golf course in Florida.

The gunman was the second to attack Trump in as many months, after his ear was hurt in July. In the wake of the attack, an X user asked why someone would want to take out Trump.

In response, Elon Musk wrote in a now-deleted post: “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala?”. It received wide condemnation before Musk took it down, but was seen by tens of millions of people.
