Ed Sheeran shared a video of a heartwarming fan encounter which has been branded "the best video on the internet" with celebrities from Piers Morgan to Megan McKenna loving the video.
In the clip the Halifax-born singing sensation is seen cruising along a canal and while Ed didn't reveal his location, fans are speculating it is in London.
Ed shared a video which captured the heartwarming moment to his Instagram yesterday, captioning it: "Was filming a video on the canal today, played a request. If anyone knows the runner lemme know so we can have their POV video for the lols".

As soon as the young jogger realised who he was she reached for her phone and slowed to a brisk walk to film the moment, which left her visibly emotional .
Since its upload it has had 854k likes and almost 5,000 comments. In the short video Ed says hello to the passing runner before saying "Any requests?" The young woman requested Tenerife Sea before Ed played a few bars.
Fans took to the comments section to share their amazement, one wrote: "The best video on the internet today".
It seems Ed's unique filming location has inspired some people to start running, one fan wrote: "Maybe this is my sign to start running…" Another excited fan wrote: "I’m starting running in London from tomorrow". A third commented: "Currently jogging down every canal in LONDON hoping for a serenade from my man."
Some celebrities also saw the video and took the time to comment, Piers Morgan wrote: "This is brilliant.." Jamie Oliver wrote: "Love this, made her year" and Perez Hilton wrote: "Why did this just make me cry?" Megan McKenna chimed in saying: "This is so epic" while Jedward said: "More canal cruise action 007 Sheeran at the ready with a Guitar."
The runner in the video saw the upload and commented "THIS IS ME", from her account named nikkiatkinss, her comment has had over 61,000 likes and Ed has since reshared her video of their encounter.
