Several Arsenalplayers have expressed their support to Gabriel Jesusas he continues to recover from a serious knee injury. The Brazilian has not featured since January after rupturing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament during the FA Cup third round defeat against Manchester United.
Jesus, 28, underwent successful surgery and has since been working his way back to fitness. However, due to the extensive recovery time needed following an ACL tear, Jesus is not expected to return until at least October.
By that point, the ex-Manchester City man could fall right down the bottom of the pecking order. Viktor Gyokeres is expected to take up the No.9 mantle once his £63.5million move from Sporting CP is confirmed, while Kai Havertz is set to compete for the position and act as back-up.

That could leave Jesus as third choice when he returns to action, casting doubt around his long-term future in north London. Although Arsenal might need him as the Gunners juggle the Premier League, Champions League, and a potential run in the FA and Carabao Cups, his game time could be limited.
Reports have suggested that Palmeiras are interested in re-signing Jesus, seven years since he departed the club to sign for Man City, but the expectation is that he is going to remain at Arsenal until at least January.
In the meantime, Jesus' immediate focus is about getting back to fitness and he has posted several images of him working hard in the gym across the summer. On Wednesday night, Jesus provided a fresh update and uploaded three photos with him wearing a performance vest and next to some weights in the gym.
Jesus captioned the post: "One more," alongside a flexed bicep emoji, folded hands emoji and football emoji.
Even if Jesus' long-term future at Arsenal is uncertain following the immediate arrival of Gyokeres, he still appears to be backed by his teammates. Indeed, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Leandro Trossard, Jurrien Timber, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, Reiss Nelson and Jakub Kiwior are among those who liked his post.
Elsewhere, former teammates Eddie Nketiah, Granit Xhaka and Cedric Soares also liked Jesus' post.
Arsenal are currently in Singapore on their pre-season tour of South East Asia. The Gunners went up against AC Milan and beat them 1-0 on Wednesday thanks to Bukayo Saka's second-half strike.
Mikel Arteta's men face Newcastle United in their second pre-season fixture on Sunday before travelling to Hong Kong for a clash against arch rivals Tottenham four days later.
The Gunners kickstart their Premier League campaign on Sunday, August 17 at Manchester United. They then host Leeds United before making the trip to Liverpool before the first international break.
