Andy Carrroll pictured with celeb make-up artist after moving on from wife Billi Mucklow

Andy Carroll has been papped with a celebrity makeup artist after calling time on his marriage to Billi Mucklow.

The former Newcastle United footballer, 35, and TOWIE star, 36, got hitched two years ago and share three kids, but secretly split in July before it was revealed they were heading for divorce.

As the dust settles on their breakup, Andy, who now plays for French side, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, has been spotted with a new woman, makeup artist, Lou Teasdale, 40. It has been reported that the pair have been growing closer recently and were seen together at London's Spitalfields Market enjoying a drink on Thursday.

A fellow punter who saw the pair at the busy boozer in the capital claimed they looked "comfortable" with one another and "didn't seem to care" who spotted them. Andy's estranged wife Billi is understood to be aware of his new friendship with Lou.

According to the Mail, where the pictures are published, sources say Lou has visited Andy in Bordeaux where he now plays football. They said: "Lou is really cool and arty, Andy is former footballer who has got himself in many a scrape but they have met and get on really well. They have been seen together on more than one occasion and she has also been to France to see him. Billi is aware and has been telling her friends about them."

However, they then added: "You do have to wonder what Andy and Lou have in common, they come from completely different worlds, but they get on really great. Whatever you say about Andy, he is a very handsome man so it's not surprising that Lou wants to spend so much time with him."

It is not known how they met, but Lou and Andy follow one another on Instagram. Andy also follows a number of Lou's friends, including One Direction star, Louis Tomlinson, and his sister Lottie.

Andy's marriage to the mum of his three kids, Billi, almost didn't happen two years ago after the footballer's antics on his stag do in Dubai. The couple had been together for nine years, but after Andy was papped with two women in his bed as he lay passed out in the UAE, Billi removed her £200,000 engagement ring and moved out of their Essex home.

The reality star only forgave her then fiancé after Taylor Jane Wilkey, who was one of the women in the bed, insisted that nothing had happened, adding that footballer was a complete "gentleman".

The bar manager apologised for the photos and insisted the two never had sex, saying: "I'm sorry, Billi, I know how it looks, but we didn't have sex," the then 27-year-old told the Sun. "She needs to know nothing sexual happened between me and Andy, I swear. He was a gentleman, he just had so much to drink and passed out on the bed. He didn't try anything — and even if he had wanted to, he was too drunk."

The Mirror has contacted Andy and Lou's reps for comment on this story.
